‘MEET and SHARE: a mathematicians’ storytelling event’

Event Date: Thursday, January 4th, 2024

Submission Deadline: November 25th, 2023

During this storytelling event, we hope to bring together mathematicians from all career stages and connect with one another through personal stories. The program will be hosted by Dr. Silviana Amethyst and feature stories of 6 storytellers. This event will not be recorded in order to create an intimate space. The theme of this year is ‘Does Not Imply‘. Everyone is welcome to submit stories!

This event is organized by the Coalition for the Amplification of Historically Excluded Mathematicians (CAHEM), which consists of the Center for Minorities in the Mathematical Sciences, Lathisms, Mathematically Gifted and Black, and Meet a Mathematician. This event is funded by the NSF CAREER Grant DMS–2046889, PI: Priyam Patel.
